Job Portal
Job Portal
A complete recruitment platform with three separate login panels — admin, job seeker and employer — each with its own feature set and controls.
What we built
Job Portal

A complete job portal solution built on the PHP Laravel framework. It is a full application for anyone building job portal or recruitment websites covering job seekers, employers, job search, candidate resumes and profiles.
The portal comes with three different login panels — one each for admin, job seeker and employer — with a different set of features and controls for every role.
Portal admin panel
- Dashboard. All the information at a glance: how many candidates and employers have registered, how many jobs are posted and active, and more. It is the place where the portal admin gets a complete picture of the website.
- Candidates management. Manage all candidates from one place — review profile information, make edits, and create, delete or suspend candidates.
- Employers management. Review company profiles, and create, edit, delete, activate or deactivate company accounts.
- Reported jobs. Anyone can report a job if something looks wrong. Reported jobs surface in this section for the admin to act on.
- Reported employers. If a company violates the terms of the website it can be reported, and the admin can disable or delete the account.
- Jobs. The key feature of any job portal. The admin sees every job posted by every employer and can manage or edit them.
- Job categories. Each job is categorised by purpose, so candidates can find the roles that fit them.
- Skills. Manage the skills required to do a job. Employers mention them while posting; candidates list the ones they are expert in — which makes shortlisting straightforward.
- Job tags. Jobs can also carry a completely custom tag that makes sense for that role.
- Job types. Manage all job types here for employers to use while creating jobs.
- Job shifts. Manage shifts so the employer can specify when the work needs to be done.
- Company sizes. Define the company sizes that employers select while completing their profile.
- Salary periods. The frequency at which a job pays. Manage every salary period from this module.
- Marital status. Manage the marital status options candidates can select in their profile.
- Industries management. Manage the industries to which jobs belong.
- Degree levels. Some jobs require a certain level of education — manage the possible degree levels here.
- Functional areas. Manage the different functional areas a job can belong to.
- Career levels. Manage the career levels candidates use in their profiles.
- Ownership types. Define the ownership types employers select in their company profiles.
- Subscription plans. Create plans for employers. A default trial plan is provided and cannot be deleted; by default employers get the trial plan with one allowed job, and the admin can change that allowance. New plans need a name, an allowed job count and a price.
- Settings. Manage job portal branding — name, logo, footer and the rest — from one section.
- Front settings. Set prices for featured jobs and featured companies, define the featured quota, decide how many jobs are featured at a time, and disable the featured feature entirely if you prefer.
